Viking Pirates and Dragons at the Yorkshire Museum!

This February half-term become a Viking Pirate and learn How to Train Your Dragon at the Yorkshire Museum!

All honorary Viking Pirates are invited to the Yorkshire Museum on Saturday 21st February for a special screening of the DreamWorks animation How to Train Your Dragon on the full-sized cinema screen and for some fun Viking Pirate themed activities throughout the school holidays.

This family favourite film features Hiccup the Viking who befriends an injured dragon he calls Toothless. As the story unfolds, it turns out that this unlikely friendship could dramatically change the future of Hiccup and his Viking people.

Emma Williams, assistant curator of science and archaeology (learning) said:

“We are really excited to be showing How to Train Your Dragon on the full-sized screen at the Yorkshire Museum this February half-term.

Not only is this a fantastic family film that children will enjoy but the museum is a unique and exciting venue which will make this a really special experience.”

This special film screening will take place on Saturday 21st February at the Yorkshire Museum at 3pm. Tickets cost £5 plus admission and can be purchased from the Yorkshire Museum reception desk.
