- Get hands-on with real Roman artefacts using one of our Roman object boxes, which will shed light on the lives of the soldiers or civilians who lived in York.
- Learn through play by trying out a Roman board game or re-enacting some of the battlefield tactics used by Roman legionaries.
Our Discover: Roman York workshop is led by an expert member of our Schools Learning Team.
You can select which Roman Object Box (A Legionary’s Life or Exploring Eboracum) and play-based activity (Terni Lapelli or Marching with the legions) you would like us to deliver as part of your workshop during the booking process.
