Enjoy ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ on the big screen at the Yorkshire Museum this Christmas

Get that cosy Christmas feeling this December as the festive favourite It’s A Wonderful Life comes to the Yorkshire Museum on the big screen.

Consistently voted the best Christmas movie of all time, the heart-warming story will be shown in the museum’s 300 seater Tempest Anderson Hall on Thursday 14 December 2017. There will also be a festive buffet and a glass of mulled cider beforehand, with the wearing of Christmas jumpers, Santa hats and festive dress encouraged!

Eve Haynes, weddings and events assistant manager, said:

“The story of George Bailey being saved on Christmas Eve by his guardian angel is a true Christmas classic.

“This is a rare opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit by tucking into a festive buffet with friends or family before settling down to watch it on the big screen.”

The event starts at 7pm, with tickets costing £15 including the buffet and mulled cider. Click here to book ahead online (tickets will be on sale until 9am on 12 December 2017). If you have any dietary requirements, please contact yorkvenues@ymt.org.uk after purchasing your tickets to specify your requirements no later than Monday 11 December 2017.
