Discover: Jurassic Yorkshire – KS2 Workshop

What to expect
Venture back into the Jurassic at the Yorkshire Museum in our Discover: Jurassic Yorkshire workshop. Explore the museum and handle real objects from our collections as we learn about the work of Mary Anning and use rocks and fossils to discover how Yorkshire’s marine reptiles and dinosaurs were adapted to their environments. Afterwards, create your own fossil cast from clay to take away with you.

Age group
Key Stage Two.
Numbers
