If so, bring your finds for identification and have them recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme if they are more than 300 years old.

Prehistory

We invite babies (under two years old) to the Yorkshire Museum to make a prehistoric cave painting, dress up as cave people, and hunt the wild animals.

Special baby sessions linked to exhibitions, including songs and sensory activities for babies and their carers. Sessions are a mixture of free flow and adult led activities which all relate to the early years Curriculum. A perfect introduction to museums!
